Each strain is naturally acid and bile resistant making them ideal for survivability.With decades of research and know-how, each strain is fermented and stabilized with non-allergenic ingredients before being gently freeze dried for maximum stability.In addition to being acid and bile resistant our strains are fermented and stabilized without the use of most allergens before being gently freeze dried for maximum stability.

Bifidobacterium bifidum

Description: A specially selected strain of Bifidobacterium bifidum is available as a culture concentrate or as part of a custom blend with a variety of excipients. B. bifidum is a widely used probiotic and a common resident of the colonic microbiota in healthy humans.

Manufacturing: Bifidobacterium bifidum is manufactured through a fermentation process and freeze-dried at a GMP certified plant.

Appearance: White to cream-colored, freeze-dried, free-flowing probiotic powder.

Morphology: Bifidobacterium comprises Gram-positive, non-spore forming, anaerobic, pleomorphic bacilli. They have various shapes, including short, curved rods, club-shaped rods and bifurcated Y-shaped rods.

Bifidobacterium longum

Description: A specially selected strain of Bifidobacterium longum is available as a freeze-dried concentrate or as part of a custom blend with a variety of excipients. B. longum is a widely used probiotic and is among the most prevalent species in the healthy human gastrointestinal tract. The species is particularly well studied in human clinical trials.

Lactobacillus acidophilus

Description: A specially selected strain of Lactobacillus acidophilus is available as a freeze-dried concentrate or as part of a custom blend with a variety of excipients. L. acidophilus is a widely used probiotic and is particularly well suited to survive gastrointestinal transit. L. acidophilus can be found in a variety of environments including the respiratory, gastrointestinal and genital tracts of healthy humans. The DDS®-1 strain is particularly well studied in human clinical trials.

Lactobacillus casei

Description: A specially selected strain of Lactobacillus casei is available as a freeze-dried concentrate or as part of a custom blend with a variety of excipients. L. casei is a widely used probiotic, is a common inhabitant of the healthy human gastrointestinal tract and is also found naturally in fermented foods.

Lactobacillus gasseri

Description: A specially selected strain of Lactobacillus gasseri is available as a freeze-dried concentrate or as part of a custom blend with a variety of excipients. L. gasseri is considered a normal commensal microorganism of the gastrointestinal tract as well as a dominant member of the healthy vaginal tract. L. gasseri is a widely used probiotic and several probiotic attributes for this species have been demonstrated based on human clinical trials.

L. paracasei is a widely used probiotic and has been isolated from a variety of environments, including dairy sources and plants as well as the gastrointestinal tract of humans, where it part of the healthy flora.

Lactobacillus rhamnosus

Description: A specially selected strain of Lactobacillus rhamnosus is available as a freeze-dried concentrate or as part of a custom blend with a variety of excipients. L. rhamnosus is a widely used probiotic and can be found in a variety of environments including the respiratory, gastrointestinal and genital tracts of healthy humans. Lactococcus lactis

Description: A specially selected strain of Lactococcus lactis is available as a freeze-dried concentrate or as part of a custom blend with a variety of excipients. L. lactis is a widely used probiotic and can be found in a variety of environments, including plant material the gastrointestinal tract of animals. L. lactis is of crucial importance for manufacturing dairy products such as milk, cheese and yogurt.

Saccharomyces boulardii

Description: A specially selected strain of Saccharomyces boulardii is available as a freeze-dried concentrate or as part of a custom blend with a variety of excipients. S. boulardii is a well-established yeast species of yeast that is widely used as a probiotic. Numerous randomized controlled clinical trials have reported on the probiotic attributes of S. boulardii.

Manufacturing: Saccharomyces boulardii is manufactured through a fermentation process and freeze-dried at a GMP certified plant.

Streptococcus thermophilus

Description: A specially selected strain of Streptococcus thermophilus is available as a culture concentrate or as part of a multiple strain custom blend with a variety of excipients. S. thermophilus is a widely used probiotic and among the most commonly used species in the dairy industry, mainly in the fermentation of yogurt and several cheese varieties.

Manufacturing: Streptococcus thermophilus is manufactured through a fermentation process and freeze-dried at a GMP certified plant.
